On December 1, 2017, the Thailand Robotics Week 2017 and RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2017 press conference was held with prominent figures in attendance. Miss Ajarin Pattanapanchai, Permanent Secretary of the Digital Economy and Society Ministry, Mr. Itichai Patamasiriwat, Deputy Director-General of the Office of Industrial Economics, and Mr. Arakin Rakjittapok from AIS joined the event.
The conference was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, the General Chair of RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2017 and a RoboCup Trustee, highlighting Thailand’s role in promoting robotics innovation and technology development in the Asia-Pacific region.
The event set the stage for RoboCup competitions, showcasing cutting-edge robotics technologies and supporting research and educational initiatives in artificial intelligence and robotics.
